National Campaign Weekend: Canvassing in Crouch End

A canvassing session for National Campaigning Weeken, starting off from our constituency office.

Perfect for newcomers: we will have a proper briefing and introduction to canvassing over mince pies before we start, and afterwards we will come back to the office to socialise over tea and coffee.

To be honest, more than a few minutes training isn't necessary, but we know it gives confidence to first-timers. People are always "buddied up" on the doorstep as long as they want it.

So come along and/or make it your New Year resolution to campaign with Labour.

Tell Our MP: Tackle Climate Breakdown!

The effects of climate and ecological breakdown are here now. Inaction is more costly than action. Cutting investment in measures like retrofit, sustainable transport, renewables, a global loss and damage fund, are a false economy. With a Labour government we have a chance of a truly better, fairer, greener world. Come to meet our MP Catherine West, discuss how we can hold our government to accountand build on their manifesto commitments and the positive steps they have taken to date.’

The meeting will take place from 2pm on Saturday 12th October at St Mary’s School, Rectory Gardens N8 7QN. Please put it in your diary. Further information to follow.

Sponsored by Haringey Labour Climate Action and Muswell Hill and Hornsey Friends of the Earth.
